Same protocol, not the live stack

War-game mode runs the same on-chain governance as production. It does not replace real gov. Practice lives on WarGameRegistry. Production stays on NavePirataRegistry, the Launchpad “Deployed” slot, and the pacto_gov singleton.

Redeploy retires the previous Active game. It does not unwind a real treasury or captain.

Two channels

• squad-dashboard — real governance and treasury.
• squad-wargame — play hub. It appears after the first war-game deploy and stays as a virtual row (not a separate chat group).

Timings

• War-game default: 5 minutes for crew-change delay and proposal expiry. Customizable down to 1 minute.
• Production default: 7 days for both.
• Those two knobs also seed mutiny expiry and crew-offboard expiry at deploy.

Crew votes (Treasury Authority)

Treasury proposals use one of two crew-vote modes. You can switch them in the app; flipping mode is itself a two-body proposal.

• Majority (51%): passes when 2 × yeas > snapshot. Abstain counts against.
• Quorum (30% default): passes when at least that share of the snapshot votes and yeas exceed nays.

What the switch does not change

• Mutiny is always 51% of the snapshot, with no extra vote delay — execute as soon as yeas hit the threshold. It does expire after the proposal-expiry window (5 minutes in war-game, 7 days in production). After the deadline, anyone can expire a stuck mutiny so a failed round does not pin the squad.
• Crew-led offboard is always quorum-of-cast on Quartermaster, independent of the Treasury Authority switch.

How a round works

• Sepolia only. Real gov can use any configured network.
• One Active war-game stack at a time.
• Retire and redeploy as often as you like.
• Any member can start. The starter is captain for the round.
• After deploy, the captain may randomize from Mutiny (Governance → Captain).
• Typical loop: start, propose, vote, mutiny if you need a new captain. Video, if you use it, stays out of band.
